Over the years our guests have had many unique experiences as they travel by pontoon to visit the homes. One year a deer was spotted crossing the back yard as a group entered one home. Another group rescued a disabled pontoon much to their surprise. There is always the chance appearance of wildlife and beautiful birds as you travel on the lake.

Safety is a prime concern on the tour. As in years past, the Sea Cadets will be manning the docks at each home to assist each guest board and disembark. Experienced boat captains will drive the pontoons. The boat captains love to share interesting facts about Lake Murray and to make the cruise a fun and relaxing experience. We encourage all to wear sensible shoes and to follow the pontoon and tour safety rules.

Although The Lake Murray Association relies on the Tour to provide the funding necessary to maintain our work for the Lake, we also enjoy sharing our love of the lake with you. As a special incentive, this year the Dam Bar & Grill will be offering a 20% discount for ticket holders to have lunch with them. You can make a day of it.
