Ladies Day on the Lake

Our Ladies Day Program is the result of an incident on Lake Murray where a lady was stranded when her husband died in the boat.  It has become a very popular event!  Ladies Day teaches boating safety & rules, participants get to learn how to back your boat in and out of the water, and also become familiar with using kayaks and paddle boards.  Each participant gets a completion certificate and lunch is provided. 

The Lake Murray Power Squadron, SCDNR, & Carolina Outdoor Adventures are kind enough to join us each year.

The 2024 Ladies Day on the Lake will be this June.  We are in the process of confirming the dates and will have them out soon.   LMA members wishing to participate will be given priority when registration opens up.
